NSW:Serial pedophile jailed for 20 years
A serial pedophile has been jailed for at least 20 years for abusing four boys over
three decades.
53-yar-old ANDREW DEAN MCINTOSH was found guilty in May of 18 charges against three
boys, including buggery and indecent assault between 1979 and 1984.
At an earlier trial last year, he was found guilty of 24 charges related to the sexual
and physical abuse of a student at Barker College in Sydney's north in the early 1990s.
At the time, he was a volunteer cadet master at the private school.
In the Downing Centre District Court today, Judge MICHAEL FINNANE QC sentenced MCINTOSH
on all 42 charges to 32 years in prison with a non-parole period of 20 years.
MCINTOSH, he said, had shown no remorse for the damage he'd done, and the community
had to be protected from him.
MCINTOSH'S four victims cheered and clapped as the sentence was read out.
