QLD: Boy bashed and stabbed in unprovoked attack
BRISBANE, April 9 AAP - A 14-year-old boy on his way to the cinema with a friend was
bashed and stabbed by a group of men in an unprovoked attack on Queensland's Gold Coast.
The boy had got off a bus in Harbour Town about 8.30pm (AEST) yesterday when he and
his friend were confronted by the three men, police said today.
The boy was repeatedly kicked and punched before being stabbed in the stomach.
His friend ran to get security guards but the assailants had fled.
The boy was taken to the Gold Coast Hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
