Fed: Branson Rocks into Sydney with $16m flat

British tycoon RICHARD BRANSON has reportedly paid a record $16 million for an apartment
in Sydney's Rocks.

According to the Australian Financial Review, the Virgin founder is believed to have
bought a luxury apartment in the Harry Seidler-designed Cove development.

The apartment features five toilets -- costing $14,000 each -- and a 12-seat dining
floor that revolves every 30 minutes and is protected by fingerprint and retina-scan security.

The price is reported to exceed the previous record paid for an Australian flat.

Sydney radio broadcaster JOHN LAWS and his wife, CAROLINE, paid almost $15 million
for an apartment at Woolloomooloo Wharf in May.
