NSW: Huge cannabis haul gets bigger

Police have revised the amount of cannabis seized in a raid at a property in western
New South Wales yesterday, bringing the total haul up to 3.2 tonnes.

Earlier reports yesterday said police had uncovered 2.5 tonnes, worth an estimated $35 million.

However, police now believe the total to be 3.2 tonnes worth an estimated $45 million.

Drug squad detectives raided the private property at Jacks Creek, near Narrabri, at
dawn yesterday and arrested 16 people, who have been interviewed.

More than 70 officers attached to Strike Force Artie found the huge haul which was
being air dried in the open as well as in a large drying shed.
