Qld: Fire destroys home, damages another
BRISBANE, Feb 15 AAP - Fire destroyed one home and severely damaged another in theinner Brisbane suburb of West End overnight.
Queensland Fire and Rescue Authority senior operations co-ordinator Peter Fraser saidthe fire broke out in a timber highset house in Forbes St about 2.20am (AEST).
Mr Fraser said the blaze completely destroyed the house and spread to a neighbouringtimber house, causing severe damage down one side.
Both homes were unoccupied at the time of the fire.
